Uncovering E Commerce OS for Notion - Part 3: Creating Analytics for Area & City wise Sales View

At Prodify, our Aim was not Just to manage the business based aspects only, we also wanted that each SME can track their progress and know that where they are weak and strong. For this we decided to create an helpful view of City and Area wise Sales view On Home Page.

Implementation Steps

  1. We created 2 Databases Named as Cities and Area Respectively.
  2. We created a two-way Relation of Both Databases to Customers Database.
  3. Then each Customer was added to their Respective City.
  4. Then in Each of Database, a Rollup Property was added which then was linked to the Orders Property in Customers Database
  5. In the Property settings, we made it to:

    6. Calculate → Count → Count Values

  6. In this way, we had the Numbers of Orders Ready in Both Databases, in the Home Page, we created a Gallery View, and Sorted the Database as Descending in the Count Property
